Quite possibly the rarest Metroid game Metroid II was a worthy sequel to Metroid. With new Power ups and items Metroid II was a great hit on a portable system. Taking place on SR388 the creatures were different than the original Metroid opening up new possibilities. The Metroid evolutions were introduced into this game making the world of Metroid much more varied. Maybe the greatest achievement of this game was opening a bridge to Super Metroid.
