Warrior ING

The Warrior ING is the most basic ING. They are the exact opposite of the Luminoth warriors of Aether. The ING can take control of a creature on Aether to leave Dark Aether and start a symbiotic relationship with the targeted creature. On their home turf on Dark Aether the ING reveal their true form. They can liquefy themselves and spread across the ground and are hard to spot. They can be tracked with Dark Xenotechnology. The ING can also turn themselves into a gas like state to attack and capture a targeted host. Warrior ING usually works in groups of three or less.

The ING can’t travel to Aether without a host body to survive on but on Dark Aether they live on the noxious air that is deadly to other life forms. When they infect a creature the ING wraps itself around the creatures Nervous System and takes control of all bodily functions.  The ING also makes the host more powerful. ING reproduce asexually. When they enter their liquid state the puddles spread into two and another ING emerges. ING in their own state never rest. All they so is try to conquer more of their dimensional counterpart.

The ING were created when a meteor struck Aether and was so powerful it created a dimensional rift. In Aethers counterpart Dark Aether everything is different. The strong and peaceful Luminoth were replaced by the evil and deadly ING. Phazon also corrupts the ING since a Phazon meteor created the dimensional rift on Aether. All ING are highly venerable to bright light.

INGlet

The INGlet are a small and simple form of ING. They’re very weak and at the bottom of the ING power chain.

Hunter ING

The Hunter ING is very strong variations that can create its own dimensional rift and become immune to all things that are happening on Dark Aether.

ING Larva

The ING Larva tends to attack in large swarms and hurling themselves at foes for defense. They are rare versions of ING.

Darkling Tentacle

A large Tentacle that attempts to whip the opposing creature.

 ING Storm

The ING Storm are a large amount of small ING that attack and can corrode various types of metal.

ING Emperor

The overlord of the ING. The Emperor guards the smallest piece of energy that sustains Dark Aether. The ING Emperor is corrupted by Phazon severely and is a deadly creature in battle. It can command any ING in the area to do its bidding and if injured can absorb Phazon to surprise the enemy with.  The ING Emperor can also summon Nightbarbs to defend itself.
