Bomb Guardian

The Bomb Guardian is an Alpha Sandigger corrupted by the ING with the Bomb data. This creature can generate enough energy to create bombs in its rear and mouth than either leave them in a location where an enemy will step on them or it could expel them through the mouth. If these areas of energy are attacked the creature is weakened. Some of the energy used to create the bomb will be sent back and exploded inside the creature.

Being infected by ING it doesn’t need to eat for long periods of time. When it does it usually attacks some of the War Wasps that have made nests in the vicinity of Agon Wastes and the Sandigger will sometimes eat lesser Sandiggers of the pack. The Bomb Guardian has no need for rest nor can it tunnel underground anymore. The Bomb Guardian can’t be replicated because there is only one Alpha Sandigger.

Once Samus depleted the Bomb Guardians energy and destroyed it the ING left behind the excess energy it had. In this case the Bombs. Once Samus collected the extra energy the Bomb data was added to the Power Suit Components.
