Roots to Wings

Roots to Wings
Christian Education program for children ages 5-17.

"The best thing we can give our children are roots and wings - a grounding in tradition and the encouragement to challenge..., and seek new ways of seeing, being and acting in a world working to bring about God's love and justice."  These words were written by Elizabeth Francis Caldwell, author of the book, Come Unto Me.  She writes these words as a tribute to the children of faith who teach her about God's love and care for all creation.

It is through the Workshop Rotation Model (or fondly known as WoRM)
we bring these "new ways" to our children.
Our education goals include:
Providing a program of learning and fun that will
create fresh excitement among our children and families.
Learning to love the Lord, each other and themselves;
Raising our children in faith and preparing them for the challenges
and choices that await them;
To be laughing, playing, worshiping and praying, together.

As we look forward to 2009, we conitnue our plan of activity and learning.
We thank each of you who makes it happen.
To each teacher, thank you.
Without your time and talent we would not be able to make this program happen.
To each parent, thank you for making the commitment for your child's participation.
Together we will provide our children a solid foundation in their faith,
a rich relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ,
and a life of compassion and service through the love of God.
