Consistory

Consistory is the committee whose primary charge is to make policy, set direction and transact the business of the church.  Consistory meets regularly on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the conference room of the church offices.  For the 2005-2006 church year, this committee consists of the following individuals:

The Church Elders form a sub-committee of the Consistory known as the Spiritual Council.  The Spiritual Council meets every other month to quicken the spiritual life of the congregation, review and act upon the status of members, review, support and (when appropriate) guide the work of Mission Ministries within the church and foster a creative and healthy relationship between the pastor and the congregation.  With respect to the latter, the Council also serves as the Pastoral Relations Committee, continuously monitoring the “pulse” of the congregation and the congregation’s support of the Pastor’s ministry.
