The White Rose Irregulars of York and the Brooks of Carlisle

The task of keeping green the memory of the Master Detective Sherlock Holmes is alive and well in central Pennsylvania. Members
of the White Rose Irregulars of York and the Brooks of Carlisle, scion societies of the Baker Street Irregulars, meet the
first Saturday of March, June, September and December at the Elephant and Castle Restaurant south of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The meetings are open to anyone who has an interest in Sherlock Holmes, Conan Doyle, Victorian England or the mystery genre
in general. The members vary from Sherlockian scholars to those who merely enjoy the company of those with a common interest.
The focus of the group is to have fun discussing the works of Arthur Conan Doyle and any related topics. The Elephant and
Castle Restaurant serves authentic English beverages and food that helps to add to the atmosphere. If you have always wanted
to share your enthusiasm for Sherlock Holmes stories, please plan to join us at our next meeting. Please contact me for details.
Your Host and Proprietor, Denny Dobry, thanks you for your visit and please return often.
