Become a Member!
Any person may become a member of the LONG ISLAND GOOD SAMS INC. D/B/A LONG ISLAND GOOD SAMS,
NEW YORK CHAPTER 8, if they are members in good standing of the GOOD SAM CLUB. Have attended an official chapter campout and
a general meeting. Have read the chapter's by-laws and general information sheet. Are recommended for membership by the membership
committee. Are accepted into membership by a majority vote at a general meeting.The annual dues shall be twenty five ($25.00)
dollars per member family. This includes N.Y. State Good Sam dues, cost of the publication and postage of the monthly newsletter.
New members shall be assessed an initiation fee of five ($5.00) dollars to cover the cost of the membership kit. The membership
kit will, at a minimum, include two (2) Good Sam badges, by-laws, a confidential membership roster, chapter and general membership
information sheet.
