Here's a picture of me winding the "Ace McCoy's Trainer" for the 'Fiction Flyer' event at the FAC contest in Wawayanda, NY in October, 2009. The plane went on to place third in the event.

Stick and tissue model planes have been part of my life since I was 8 or 9 years old, and after the typical hiatus for girls, cars, college and kids, I came back to the hobby in my early 40's. Now, several years later, I've built quite a few planes. My interests are mostly military and civilian planes through WWII. By profession, I'm an architect, and little did I know how much of an influence building models in my youth would have on my future career.

These are some photos of the free flight model airplanes I've built over the years.

I 'host' a couple of YAHOO groups that focus on FF modeling. One is the "Free Flight Cookup" group:

and another is "dimescale", focusing on small scale FF models.

If you're interested in finding out more about these groups, please follow the links above.

I'll be adding and changing models here on a regular basis, so check back often.

Enjoy.
