This plane was built as my 'entry' for the very first Free Flight CookUp, although it wasn't officially the FFCU group at that time. It was completed back in Feb. '02.
 
It is the DPCM laser cut kit, reminescent of the 18" Guillow's series. I added more wing ribs to simulate a more accurate scale appearance. The color scheme is based on an old AURORA 1/48 plastic model box art image, and all the tissue markings applied with glue stick.
 
I no longer have the model, but remember it flying a consistent 20-25 secs before it just ended up being trashed from one too many hard landings.
