This model was completed in Sept '02, and was one of the first laser
cut kits from DPCM (now Aero-Werkes) that I built.
I remember making a few modifications to the kit. These include
laminated wing tips, balsa cowl and sheeting (instead of plastic and bond paper), wing spar moved to upper wing rib surface,
and no wing riblets to save weight.
The markings are all tissue paper. Clear doped linen color is Micro-
X "Old World" Esaki tissue. The rigging is elastic thread that stretches when pulled. This is in case I snag the plane
of something, the rigginng doesn't rip the plane apart.
I was never able to get the plane flying to my satisfaction. It
really needs a lot of nose weight.
