$ 4,100 awarded to CW Monroe Automotive Program

NEWS UPDATE !

Planning is well under way for our 2008 fund raisers for C.W. Monroe Votech show, the Jill's House car show, and the Destiny Church Show. Please check out our calendar of events page, and be sure to participate in these three major events of the 2008 season.

Below is information on last year's fund raisers.

September 28, 2007 1st Annual Jill's House Car Show results !

Thank you does not begin to cover my appreciation for all the hard work
from our club to make the First Annual Jill's House Car Show an amazing
success. God brought us great weather and twice as many cars as we had
anticipated and a great, hard-working crew.

For those who missed the show, we had a lot of different means of raising
funds and we anticipate writing Jill's House a check for at least
$4,093.35. (There may be some additional funds once more of the shirts are
sold.)

SAM's Club is waiting for all their paperwork to be completed and they will
be giving an additional $1,000.00 check.

We will present our checks at the photo opp with Jill's House/SAM's
Club/NVRC members.

With sincere appreciation for a HUGE Club effort,
Pam

Cruizin Leesburg provides $4,100 to C. W. Monroe Vocational Tech program !

The above photo is the check presentation made to Doug Upwright, instructor in the C. W. Monroe Automotive Program, by the N.V.R.C. president, Carolyn Craig. The check was presented at a picnic held at the home of Chester DeWitt (left in photo) on Sunday, June 24.

Thanks to all of our members and several members of the Custom Cruisers of Northen Virginia who pitched in to assist at our Leesburg event. The students of Monroe VoTech appreciated the fund raising event for their automotive program.

Safe cruising !
