Be Still Now and Know......

Your true heart's desire already exists. You need not do anything to find it but Be Still. In the stillness itself you will find all of your answers. You will begin to Know. You will need to trust, to have faith and believe in yourself. You are knowledge.

Be Still and Know......
As you can see this is a journey and process of finding out who you are. So begin to trust and open up to faith. Learn to love and nurture yourself. You are a treasure that deserves to be well treated. With trust, you will begin to see miracles. All of the miracles that you hold inside will begin to reveal themselves to you. You are greatness, you are oneness. You are All That Is. Have fun with your discoveries. Learn to be still and enjoy the ride. In that stillness, a lot will begin to happen. What happens can never be described in mere words, so you will have to find out for yourself what Stillness does for you.

Stepping Stones Through Spirituality

What is spirituality? People are always searching for answers, trying to gain knowledge on all they can. You need to stop and realize that You are knowledge. You are spiritual. You have all of your answers. You need not search anymore. To find your answers within your self, you have to learn to be quiet, still, and solitary. For many that is a hard thing to do. So we go on searching outside of our selves for all of the answers. But we still feel a lack, we feel lost, even with all the knowledge gained. Something still does not feel right. We have been told the answers, but we cannot feel the answers.

Feeling the answers is tough. Like many, I was reading a spiritual book in search of more knowledge, but knowledge is not the same as feeling the understanding. Try as I may, I could not understand the meaning behind the words. Crying and almost in despair, I received a message. My intuition came through very loud and clear. My inner voice said, "Start at the very beginning and take it One Step At A Time." I did just that. I closed the book. I reopened it to the first page of the first chapter. I stayed with the first thing I needed to accomplish until I felt I was achieving enough to move on to the next step.

I began practicing spiritual laws in my daily life, taking it one step at a time. I began to grow in ways I never thought possible and in ways I have never even heard of before. I changed! I began to go beyond mind knowledge and into that feeling knowledge that had for so long eluded me.

Now I write this to help you along your spiritual journey. It may take you back to your beginning as I returned to mine. Wherever you are on the path, find time to allow your self to just Be. In the stillness of being, you will become the next step on your own journey. You will open up to your own truths.

Knowing will happen in the mind and, more important, in the heart. Feeling will awaken.

Focus on a state of Being. Know it is all right to change and grow as you walk along your path. You will change. Allow it. Just learn to become aware of what you are in each moment. Life will become exciting. Your life will become an adventure.

Spirituality is not complicated. Learn to be Still and See. Get to know your Self. Get to love your Self. Become aware of You. Then you will become aware of all that is around you. Awareness is the Key!

"There was silence, and I heard a still voice." (Job 4:16, margin)

A score of years ago, A friend placed in my hand a book called True Peace. It was an old medieval message, and it had but one thought - that God was waiting in the depths of my being to talk to me if I would only get still enough to hear His voice.

I thought this would be a very easy matter, and so began to get still. But I had no sooner commenced than a perfect pandemonium of voices reached my ears, a thousand clamoring notes from without and within, until I could hear nothing but their noise and din.

Some were my own voices, my own questions, some my very prayers. Others were suggestions of the tempter, and the voices from the world's turmoil.

In every direction I was pulled and pushed and greeted with noisy acclamations and unspeakable unrest. It seemed necessary for me to listen to some of them; but God said, "Be still, and know that I am God." Then came the conflict of thoughts for tomorrow, and in duties and cares, but God said, "Be still."

And as I listened and slowly learned to obey, and shut my ears to every sound, I found after awhile that when the other voices ceased, or I ceased to hear them, there was a still small voice in the depths of my being that began to speak with an inexpressible tenderness, power and comfort.

As I listened, it became to me the voice of prayer, the voice of wisdom, the voice of duty, and I did not need to think so hard, or pray so hard, or trust so hard; but that "still small voice" of the Holy Spirit in my heart was God's prayer in my secret soul, was God's answer to all my questions, was God's life and strength for soul and body, and became the substance of all knowledge, and all prayer and all blessing; for it was the living GOD Himself as my life, my all.

It is thus that our spirit drinks in the life of our risen Lord, and we go forth to life's conflicts and duties like a flower that has drunk in, through the shades of night, the cool and crystal drops of dew. But as dew never falls on a stormy night, so the dews of His grace never come to the restless soul.
