These pets came into our rescue and for a variety of reasons cannot be adopted into forever homes. Being a no-kill
rescue they will remain in foster care for the rest of their natural lives. Through sponsorship, you can help defray
the long-term costs associated with their care by sending a small donation. It is amazing what five dollars a month
can do! Remember your donations are tax-deductible but most of all, this is one way to share the joy in knowing you
have made a difference in the life of a homeless animal.
DINKY
Dinky's story will break you heart. He is approximately six years old and has a long history of abuse. He
was literally thrown out of a second story window just for kicks by his abusive owners who also abused another animal in their
household. Sadder yet, there were children present while the animals were tortured. Dinky was rescued after almost
a year of patient coaxing by his now-foster mom. It took TWO LONG YEARS of gentleness and sheer committment to this
poor guy to even consider human touch, but thanks to his angel of a foster mom, he has turned the corner. He is loved
and cared for and finally trusts his angel enough to allow some petting. He is fully integrated into her home with other
cats and he loves them all. For good reason though, Dinky is not trusting of other people. He loves to be brushed
and is so grateful to be safe, warm and loved. Because of the trauma he suffered, Dinky will stay where he feels safe.
Won't you please consider helping him?

ABBY
Abby was rescued from the same colony that Julie came from. When she first came into foster
care, she was shy but gentle and we thought we could work with her enough to get her thoroughly socialized. However,
Abby has remained extremely cautious, allowing some touch from her foster mom, but she is unable to be picked up or routinely
handled. Abby is five years old and will remain in foster care for the rest of her natural life given her semi-feral
tendancies.

JULIE
Julie is approximately five years old, extremely shy but good with other kitties! She was rescued
from a rather large colony of feral kittens but has never fully socialized ( except with other felines!). Julie is sweet,
but horribly frightened of humans, except for her foster. She is unable to be picked up but is safe and warm in foster
care where she will remain. Julie certainly could use a sponsor.
