Wendy Young Spells Success!!!!

carmelaball507three.jpg

...I adopted Carmela because of a severe congential heart defect that will ultimately shorten her life span and was she was going to be euthanized by her former owner.   Aside from her heart disease, Carmela had many unsavory behavioral problems: she was extremely territorial to the point that she would nip and bite and become agitated at the slightest normal household noise, like opening mail or crumpling paper and these were only a few of her issues.  You name the "bad" behavior...Carmela wrote the book on it!    No matter how hard I tried to resolve these issues, the net result was always total frustration. The age-old  methods of asserting the "alpha" role proved to be just plain wrong!   Wendy Young came into our lives and she is my ultimate dog whisperer!  Carmela has done a complete turn around in such a short amount of time and Wendy's methods are so easy and gentle...Wendy thinks "out of the box", uses comon sense and "trains"  not only the dog, but more importantly, the owner.  The key to success is understanding the "why" behind the dog's behavior and then successively applying the positive reinforcement Wendy teaches.  Without even thinking about it,  I am training and managing Carmela all day, every day and she is such a happier dog, not to mention, well behaved, loving and eager to please. Shelter/rescued dogs usually  wind up in their predicaments because of unacceptable behavior.  I can truthfully say, first hand, that these behavioral issues can be turned around...Carmela is living proof and we both owe that to Wendy Young of Progressive Dog Training.  Do not let your animal's behavior contribute to the thousands of animals in need of rescue...be proactive, get "Progressive"... your dog will thank you!
