Most of us have been affiliated with other organizations over the years and have developed friendships and share a vision as to  where our talents could be most utilized and where we would like to concentrate our efforts.  We have decided to dedicate ourselves to the plight of the friendly, homeless stray on the street, who through no fault of their own, have found themselves dumped for a variety of reasons.  Through our previous work in rescue we came to discover that the street, particularly in urban areas, has become a virtual dumping ground.  However, life on the street for a house pet is cruel and ultimately not much better than a short stay in a shelter.  In reailty, we all know there are  simply are too many homeless animals and not nearly enough homes. At Purrfect Paws Rescue we decided we could try to make a difference and address this issue.  For this reason and the fact that we are strictly working out of foster homes and are very  limited as to space, we are NOT INTAKING SURRENDERS FROM PET OWNERS at this time.   We are incorporated as a non-profit rescue in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and are 501(c)3 federally tax exempt.

 

We have many, loving, healthy rescued animals eager for adoption and on a paw and a prayer, as they have found a way into our hearts, we hope they will find a way into your home!
