Youth Ministry Purpose Statement
Helping youth to know, love, and
grow.
All who serve in the Youth Ministries of EBC are dedicated to fulfilling
this purpose. We want our youth to KNOW Jesus as their Savior, to LOVE God and His family, and to GROW in their walk with
the Lord.
Nursery
Nurseries for infants and for toddlers through two year olds are offered during Sunday School and the
morning worship service. Our goal is to create a loving and fun environment for your little ones and to begin to
teach them the love of Christ as we play with them and share simple stories with them. The nurseries incorporate a child
security program to further protect your children. In order to better serve you and your little ones some changes
have come to our nursery ministry. Please be sure to get a pamphlet outside the nursery about these changes.
Sunday School
Each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Sunday School classes are offered for children ages three and up (as well as for teens
and adults). These classes teach Bible stories, biblical truth and Godly application on age appropriate levels.
Sunday School is an important part of the overall teaching plan for your children. We strongly encourage families
to make Sunday School a priority for their whole family!

Children's Church
During the Sunday morning worship service children in preschool (ages 3-5) and school aged children through
fifth grade meet for their own services. During this time children have an opportunity to worship in a child-friendly way,
learn Bible stories and how to grow to be like Jesus, and take part in other fun activities.
Jr. High Ministry
Each Friday night (from
6:30 to 8:30 from September through April) seventh and eighth graders meet for a time of fun and spiritual growth. The Jr.
High Youth Group meets in the Jr. High youth room in the church office (around the corner from the church).
