The Fletcher
Roughriders was formed in 1969 by a handful of local folks who wanted to organize trail maintenance and grooming activities for
the town of Fletcher.
Since then,
the club has grown to an annual membership of approximately 250. The club members maintain, sign, and groom 46 miles of trail
that is part of the Vermont State wide trail system.
Grooming
is done with a Tucker Sno-Cat with either an 8 foot wide and 9 foot wide drag. Snow permitting trails are groomed
up to two times a week during the season.
Meetings
are held monthly in the town of Fletcher, year round.
