The Joys of Collecting
a virtual museum
pinback buttons
by Gina Giuliano
Many members of my family like to buy, and/or sell things on ebay
Among other things, I collect pinback buttons; I have had some of them since I was a kid. They
contain a wide range of messages; some political; some patriotic; some product campaigns of one sort or another; some activism;
some funny sayings. Although I have bought a few on ebay, most of them have been gathered in various places: at an occasional
flea market, received as a gift from a friend or a relative, collected from a political campaign or other popular event.
Here is just a fraction of my collection, starting with a few themes.

Mystery Pin
Anyone have any ideas about what this pin might be? If so, send an email to me. My brother found it in a house in Olivebridge, NY about 30 years ago.
