Valley Stream South offers a far-reaching range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that help students widen their scope of interest and enrich their world beyond the classroom. These activities include interscholastic and intramural athletics, student and class councils, school newspapers and literary publications, bands, choruses and orchestras, and a diversified club program coordinated by Ms. Jennifer Schultz, director of student activities. Eligibility requirements exist for participation in activities.
