The Palouse is a region in southeastern Washington and western Idaho with rolling hills that is one of the
most productive wheat farming areas in the world. In Spring, the green wheat fields are striking against bright blue skies
and puffy cumulus clouds. Cannola, barley, and lentil fields provide contrast ; the lines of the planting tractors create
geometric accents. This is Norman Rockwell country.
