First two wall panels of steel siding on. Foam 1/2" panel attached to the roof. Panels are foil faced on one side which I put out. This reflective side will help keep it cooler in observatory by reflecting the heat away.	Click image for full size
Roof panel attached with gable trim added. Colors match my color scheme on shop. Roof panels being charcoal gray get very HOT. But with the reflective side of foam board facing out the inside surface is cool to the touch.	Click image for full size
In the mean time I also wanted a more pernament setup for my Losmandy G11 mount. Here is the start of a new concrete pier for it. The tube is a leftover piece of 8 1/2 inch sewer pipe. Dug down 52" and tapered bottom of hole.	Click image for full size
Pipe was leveled and pier plates set on top. The 5/8" thick by 12" x 12" aluminium plates are from McMaster Carr as is all the 5/8" stainless steel hardware.	Click image for full size

Tube filled and encased in 15 - 80lb bags of concrete. Pier plate was placed into position using the alignment marks from night before. Once concrete setup, plates removed to be finished.	Click image for full size
Here is the bottom plate finished and attached. Black paint is a satin black that blends in well with the Losmandy mount. Tubing was also painted.	Click image for full size
