November 15, 1-4 . "In this 3-session mini-course, we will
explore two modules developed by the SABES Central RSC in Worcester. It is intended primarily for ESOL practitioners who are
new to the field or who don't have many years of experience. In the Basics module participants will be involved in a variety
of exercises that will help them discover and discuss various aspects of teaching adult ESOL learners that provide a basis
for good teaching practice. In the Multi-level Classroom module we will identify and discuss teaching strategies that can
be used in the multi-level classroom. Participants will become familiar with the strategies through modeling by the presenter
and by participating in the activities. The mini-course will culminate in a sharing of activities created by each participant."
