WORK WITHIN YOUR COMFORT LEVEL
EVERY CLIENT IS UNIQUE.
CORPORATE CULTURE, PROJECT
COMPLEXITY, TURNAROUND
TIME ALL COME INTO PLAY.
Some
clients prefer a written service agreement. Others,
a handshake. For complex projects,
a detailed
Statement of Work defining tasks, timelines and reporting is desirable. Needs to
sign and honor non-disclosure agreements are fully understood. The copywriting service
is performed as independently or collaboratively
as you agree will yield
the best results. As
your service provider, objectives
are to exceed expectations and deliver superior value. To do
so requires flexibility to adapt to each client's
business environment, follow an ethical code
of conduct, and act always in the client's best interests.

YOUR CUSTOMERS,
PARTNERS AND MEDIA Projects such as case studies, articles and white papers
normally require interaction with your extended business family. With or without a non-disclosure agreement, Savvy Copywriting
never contacts customers, partners, trade groups, analysts, media or other parties on your behalf without your authorization.
Your business is never discussed beyond requirements for project completion.
Your phone or email introduction prior to contacting third parties is preferred. When taking
a call from Savvy Copywriting, contacts should know the business purpose and the relationship with your organization. An informed
contact expecting to speak with Savvy Copywriting is at ease and eager to cooperate. Projects execute faster. Content
is stronger. All involved benefit, increasing project success.

HANDSHAKE
AGREEMENT Trust at first sight? It happens more often than you would think.
Sometimes, the motivation comes from the integrity and trust of a referring party, such as another Savvy Copywriting client.
Often, the bond is born during the very first meeting with a new client. Occassionally, the urgency to execute a project
supersedes the formalities. While Savvy Copywriting does not advocate the practice, the propriety of moving forward without
a written agreement is based on perceptions and knowledge of the client at the time.

SERVICE
AGREEMENT A written service agreement is a legally binding contract that
describes our business relationship. Typically one or two pages in length, it states the work to be performed
by Savvy Copywriting and agreed compensation. It can also stipulate other terms and conditions, such as an
end date at which time work must be completed. Service agreements are required by many organizations. They also serve to build
confidence with new clients relying on Savvy Copywriting for the first time.
STATEMENT
OF WORK For
complex projects, the service agreement can include a more detailed Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW describes
specific tasks, their order of completion and timelines for efficient project execution. Progress reports and
milestone achievements demonstrate work performed on the client's behalf throughout the duration of lengthy projects. Value
for money and prevention of project creep lead the list of client benefits.
HOURLY
AND FIXED-FEE OPTIONS Again, client preference rules. A fixed fee
per project simplifies budgeting. Hourly fees comply with standard policies in many organizations that routinely
work with multiple contractors.
BILLING Invoices are sent within one week of a billable event, typically, project completion unless otherwise stipulated
in a service agreement. Payment is requested within 30 days of invoicing.
