Attending Bible college to get a lay counseling certificate, helping with a Campus Crusade for Christ Bible Study at local college. Enjoy reading, cooking, walking, church work, and socializing with friends.

m-'78', w-10/20/2000 and suddenly single. Have 4 grown children. and 2 grandchildren. House is full, but still I'm lonely. Love lighthouses, travel, reading, singing, getting e-mail, and my job (foster parent" to 4 developmentally disabled women and one healthy 2 1/2 year old. Favorite book of the Bible is Ecclesiastes.

b-'53', w-'01'. The Lord has done some amazing things in my life in these past three years since losing my husband Jack; I give Him all the glory, honor and praise! I have a precious 16 year old son Jacky, who (after the Lord), is the joy of my life. When I lost Jack, it was so devastating I could not even imagine going on without him. The Word teaches us that sorrow endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Indeed I have experienced the Lord restoring the joy of my salvation. He has even led me to step on in faith in a brand new business project! I would like to encourage anyone who has lost their spouse; with JESUS, you CAN continue life's journey with joy! The CWP is a wonderful place to receive love, support and encouragement.

b-'59', m-'11/7/92', w-'3/12/99'. My husband lost a 3-year battle with leukemia. I have a wonderful son '95', who is one of the Lord's greatest gifts. If it had not been for my faith in HIM, I don't know how I would have survived. Knowing that my husband is now with HIM, free from pain and suffering, is the greatest comfort. I'm involved with my church and especially love singing in the choir. I enjoy music, especially praise and worship. Other hobbies are reading, cooking, crafts, and taking road trips with my son.
