I have traveled around the USA for both business and pleasure for many years.  Recently I began writing as a form of personal pleasure while out there, and sometimes after I have returned home.  I  write about nature, my adventures, my observations, my opinions, memories, imaginations and most anything else that occurs to me at the time.  When I write about the past, it is Story Telling, and as such, is subject to some misremembered information.  You get what you pay for.  Some of those writings are worth sharing, so here they are.

What a job!

In 2009, I will be a seasonal National Park Ranger as a Visitor Use Assistant at Dickey Ridge Visitor Center in Shenandoah National Park, near Front Royal, VA.  During 2005 through 2008, I was stationed at Byrd Visitor Center at the center of the park.  I am also a Volunteer Photographer for Shenandoah National Park.  Some of my photos end up in park publications including the park offical website at www.nps.gov/shen.
