A grant was obtained in 2006 which provides for co-curricular after-school activities in technology education.
These work-shops allow students hands-on opportunities to study current technologies and techniques for the
documentation and preservation of historical artifacts.
Students work with leather, wood, metal, fabric and paper items; they analyze the condition of the object, and plan
an appropriate course of action for preservation and/or restoration.
The grant workshops are held Tuesdays from 2:30 to 4:00 in Room 194.
