Foundations of Technology is designed as the beginning high school course in technology education. Students
acquire a foundational knowledge and apply processes associated with the technological thinker. Working in groups, students
build and control systems and creatively apply mathematics, science, and engineering in the development of technology (from:
SCS, Catalog of Secondary Course Offerings, 2006).
