Dear Visitors:
Welcome to my 2007 updated photographic art website. Events are quiet now,
since its Winter. However, the Creative Photographer's Guild, of whichI am a core member, will be having an exhibition
at Wagner College in February 2007!

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Ever since I was a small child, I have loved photography. I used to wear an old Brownie camera
around my neck even though it didn’t work, and even then I must have known that one day the camera, and I would share
a wonderful experience together.
I have been an oil and acrylic painter for many years with a degree in Art and Art History. I am
also the in-house graphic designer, photographer and desktop publisher as part of my full-time position, and occasionally
I freelance as a Graphic Designer. As a colorist, my photographic art is high color and intentionally manipulated should the
image require it. Of course, there are always images that look great just as they are without any further changes needed.
In the end, I spend time and work individually with every image I offer to the public. No one image is treated in just
the exact same way as the next.
I have taken pictures throughout the five boroughs as well as outside the City. The subjects of
my work range from seasonal park and beach landscapes, flowers, trees, wildlife, anything on the water, the ferry and NYC
landmarks to absolutely anything that catches my eye. I have also ventured into the world of fantasy which fascinates me.
If something stands out for me, I photograph it.
Whenever there is an opportunity to show/sell my work, I jump at the chance. In 2004 I participated
in the the Staten Island Conference at the Hilton Tea Garden in April with approximately 5 other artists, the Staten Island
Waterfront Festival (all 6 festivals), Staten Island Artists Fence Show and Conference House Show/Sale at Wolfe’s Pond
where I won first place for photography, and I sell my work at the Alice Austin House Antiques, Art, Collectibles and Craft
Fair whenever one is scheduled. I am a member of BWAC (Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition) where I have sold pieces, and I am
the graphic designer to fulfill my membership hours. When requested, I will volunteer a piece of work to assist
a group in increasing it's non-profit income, such as the Staten Island Alzheimer’s Auction in 2004, and
the John Noble Maritime Museum in 2005. In March 2005 I had a solo exhibition at The Perking Latte Cafe in Staten Island.
In October 2006, I had a solo exhibition at the Kevin Barry Gallery in Staten Island entitled Color Strokes.
I am also a member of the Creative Photographer’s Guild which is a group of approximately 30 Staten Island Photographers. We
have exhibited in numerous locations in Staten Island including the Kevin Bary Gallery, where I won first and third places
for two of my three submitted photographic art images. We had a busy year exhibiting our work at the Fiesta Italia at the
Staten Island Zoo, and we had a very impressive exhibition at St. Johns of What America Means to Me based on the Frank Sinatra
song. This exhibition expressed our concerns regarding diversity in Staten Island. Finally, I have my work up on 3 stock
photography sites and in my store on ebay. The links are located under my links hyperlink. At present our work graces
the walls Egers Rehabilitation Center. As the Winter season progresses, I look forward to a busy Spring/Summer with brand
new pieces which I will photograph with my new Nikon D80 DSLR throughout the balance of the Winter and early Spring.
Thank you
