Well, that's it.  I hope you've enjoyed my photographic art.  Feel free to come back and visit again.  There will be quiet time this Winter, and I expect I'll be working on images I couldn't get to in the warmer months.  Send me an e-mail if you'd like to order any pictures, or you can go to the order form and fill it out and e-mail the form to me.   Have a great Holiday season and Happy New Year.

                                                        Sincerely,

                                                         Anne

A Soldier

I walk in silence, alone today,

My rifle dragging in the sand.

I walk in silence, head bowed low,

                 Through this savage land.

I walk a path many have walked

                 Many as sad as I

I walk, and I think, and ask as they,

                 I ask the question, “Why?”

I think of old friends in a far off land

                My friends of another time.

I see them laughing and I think of today,

                 It almost seems a crime.

Yes, I can see them laughing,

I know that life’s that way.

But, I cannot join their laughter,

                My buddy died today.
