This high-energy stage
production stars twice honored, "Comedy Magician of the Year!", Chipper Lowell, who has appeared on The Tonight
Show, The Disney Channel and the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Chipper's unusual brand of original "laugh-out-loud!" magic
and improv will have audiences of all ages rolling in the aisles. "Feverish, Frenetic & Hilarious!" sez the Los
Angeles Times.
Joining Chipper onstage
are a trio of world-class magical artists. "Female Magician of the Year", JADE, seamlessly blends traditional
chinese conjuring with modern magic effects to present a one-of-a-kind performance. Jade was also honored with the Gold
Medal of Magic by the International Magicians Society, and the Golden Mandrake Award in France. She recently appeared on the "Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson"
on CBS.
There is a very good
chance that master magician Christopher Hart has the most famous hand in the entire world.
An unusual statement to say the least, but it makes total sense when you realize he played the part of “Thing” in
all of the highly-successful “Addams Family” movies. Hart was also twice recognized as “Magician of
the Year” by the Magic Castle’s
Academy of Magical Arts.
Other awards include the top prize at the “Grand Prix Magique” held in Monte
Carlo, which was presented to Chris by none other than Princess Stephanie. Hart's performance
is a highly visual treat for the eyes!
Rounding out this
stellar cast is the art and illusions of Joe Devlin - The "Matador of Magic". Devlin has entertained
audiences all over the world with his mind-boggling magical routines and illusions. He has also appeared on the television
soap opera "All My Children", and has garnered dozens of awards for his incredible act, including "The Merlin Award" from
the International Magicians Soceity, and "Magician of the Year" from the Society of American Magicians in New York.
BLiNK! is unlike any
other magic show out there, as these high-caliber "artists of the impossible" unleash their original brand of comedy, magic,
and illusion. Young and old alike will thoroughly enjoy this wonderful evening of wonder!
Just remember, whatever you do.... Don't
BLiNK!

Assembly No. 174 News
S.A.M. #174 member, Bob Longsdale has moved into an assisted
living facility and is no longer able to use any of his magic props. He may keep a few books but not much more than that.
We've missed Bob's humor and his dedication to the art of magic at recent meetings, and hope he is comfortable
in his new home. (His daughter Linda hopes to assist him and possibly attend some meeting in the future.)
Cards, and well wishes can be sent to:
Bob Longsdale
Apt. 17
100 Harvard Drive
Saco Maine 04072
His books and props will be available at the annual Tri-State Magic Auction held in Portsmouth each year. EBay and other sources may garner more cash
for Bob, but the quickest/easiest way is the auction to get a fair price. If you are interested in his collection, please
plan to attend the auction next spring. (I will send out more information on the auction when it becomes available)
Sincerely,
Scot Grassette
