According to Christian Scripture, Joseph believed that Mary was indeed an adulteress and that
Jesus, the child she was carrying, was of course, a bastard child! We see this clearly in Matthew 1:19
Mat 1:19 Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose
her to public disgrace he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
"Public Disgrace" could only mean that Joseph believed that Mary was in
fact an adulteress. He even states in the verse above that he intended to divorce her. Clearly Joseph
believed that Mary had committed adultery and the child she was carrying (Jesus) was in fact a "Bastard Child"!
If one continues onto Verse 20 they will find that Joseph, after falling asleep, *DREAMT* that a
Heavenly Spirit talked with him. The Bible Says It was a Dream! It never really happened! Dreams are NOT reality!
I Dreamt Once That I could Fly Simply By Extending My Arms! Dreams Are NOT Real! But
Joseph, because of such A DREAM, decided to take Mary as his wife anyway. It Doesn't Get More Foolish
