Gribblenation is an unusual take on looking
at places. My favorite parts are the three New York links. If you really enjoy road trips - not just destinations, but the
actual life of the road - and if you have any interest in the interface of map to territory you'll like this site. Follow
any of the state's routes from begining to end. The devotees who posted these sites are an esoteric minority but they've
made armchair roadtrips better than ever.
Northern New York Cam has excellent links
to web cams, photos, and news of northern New York. The site, which archives articles from a huge list of world news
publications, keeps watch over the fragile state of democracy in our country and abroad.
