My next project will be to add
rosters based on past years to this site, using BAD_AL's programs, with the player attributes based on actual individual stats
and accurate appearance for almost all starters. 1997 will be the first year I create. If you're interested, you
can vote on the message board for which year you'd like included.

I’m honored to present
everyone visiting this site with a great update to BAD_AL's NFL History bundle. These
programs allow you to take any NFL season from 1960 to the present and automatically create a Franchise or a Roster file for
that particular season.
Here are a few of the features
available through the programs:
- Create
a full historic season with just a few clicks
- Automatically
create a schedule for any past NFL season
- Attributes
for each player are calculated from actual NFL statistics
- Easily
search for and modify any player's attributes or appearance over
specific or numerous seasons
New features include:
- Automatically adjust the starting lineups with
a single click
- Almost all jersey numbers are now present
- Updated appearances for close to half of all starters
Where available, everything from
real height/weight to jersey numbers has been included for each player. While
there are some flaws due to lack of available information, it’s my opinion that the player creation accomplished here
outshines both 2KSports and Madden’s historic player accuracy—and this feat was amazingly completed by a single
person in his spare time, not a team of paid professionals.
I/we will be continually working
on updates to the player database and any updates or corrections found by you will be extremely helpful. Feel free to email with comments or questions.
Here are a few things to remember
as you work with these programs:
- Though
the season creation and update to the roster is automatic, it takes anywhere from 30-75 minutes for the program to update
a roster through Finn’s editor, depending on the speed of your computer. You
may want to walk away from your computer for that time—but make sure you turn off your email announcements and screen
savers. Anything popping on top of the program may cause it to stop.
- All
changes are made through Finn’s editor, so make sure you have that installed and are comfortable with its capabilities.
