Benefits of Membership

There are many benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are also friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, and we hope to further Lionism by helping people here in Westford and around the world. To experience the feeling when we give a resident a visual aids machine that enables them to read when before they could not, when providing glasses for low income adults or children, when you see the fantastic procedures that can be done to save sight or correct vision problems made possible by research money from the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund Inc., when you see where our contribution to LCIF (http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/content/lions_lcif.shtml) has helped people just days after disasters such as the recent Tsunami and Katrina events and this help is funneled through the local Lions Clubs. These are just some of the things that make you feel good about being a Lion.
