Here it is!! A 1958 Goliath 1100 wagon with factory sunroof owned by Shawn Brown of VT, formerly
owned by Dave Mullett, also of VT.

Shaun has repainted the dash a nice beige, and will probably go with beige wheels, with the exterior being
red with a beige top.

This is a very rare model that features a factory cloth sliding sunroof that is fully operational and
in very good shape. It also sports the optional bucket seats, which look to be leather. Most Goliaths came with a bench
seat.

The engine is currently out of the car, as Shaun has generiously donated it to Dave Mullett for his '60
Goliath wagon. Daves car is currently running now (see more info on the dave M. page), and Shaun is now rebuilding
a Goliath engine for the red one, hoping to do the dual carb set up.
The car is amazingly solid, with the exception of the interior floor from the back seat on up, which needs
to be replaced. Car still needs brakes and the gas tank redone. Note the absence of the turn signal lights below
the headlights which normally appeared on Goliaths bound for the US. Makes it look more like the European versions.

Rear door shows some rust around the bottom, but is still structurally sound...

...and shows what the original paint really looked like!
Note the well for the spare tire.

Before Shawn got it, here's how Dave aquired the car...
a vintage car enthusiast found the car sitting outside a garage near where he lived in Burlington VT.
He had never heard of a Goliath before, so he got on the internet and found this website. Looking at the forum, he found
a posting by Dave Mullett and noticed he lived in Vermont, too. So he contacted Dave and told him about the car.
Turns out that the car was only an hour away from Daves house! The owner was willing to sell, and Dave then got Goliath
#2! Dave is now focusing his efforts on his 1960 Goliath wagon (see the Dave M. Page), and offered the red '58 to his
friend Shawn, who has very enthusiastically taken on the resto!
