I just added on a 12x24 bay across the back of my garage and
am trying to setup a small workshop for light woodworking. Found a plan for a combination table saw stand with extended outfeed
/ router table, and storage for shop vac with the ability to use the vac on the dust ports of the TS and router. The plan
I saw was in Shop Notes #66, but was more elaborate than I wanted to make, so I modified it to my liking. I got a great deal
on some cabinet grade maple 3/4 plywood (cheaper than fir!) so I've made stands for drill press, band saw, and planer, along
with some assembly boxes, and now this saw/router cabinet from it.Looking I've made everything on 4" locking casters (only
$7.95/ea from Grizzly) so the shop can be portable. I put a 5' double door in the back of my existing garage so if I need
the room, any tools not in use can be wheeled into the car garage to make more room to work in.
