The Rehoboth Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) offers soccer programs for boys and girls ages 4 1/2 through 15.  The primary season is the Fall season. The Fall season normally begins on the first Saturday following Labor Day and ends in early November.  All games are played on Saturdays. No games are played during the Columbus Day weekend .

Teams will be put together starting in July. You can expect to hear from a coach in late-August.  Teams may practice one or more times during the week at the discretion of the coach.  This is a recreation league, meaning that although games themselves are competitive, no team standings are kept, and no tournaments or playoffs are held.  We try to balance all teams with more- and less-skilled players, and teams are built “from scratch” each year.  All children receive an award for participation at the end of the season, but there are no trophies for “winners.”  Priorities are soccer education, sportsmanship, and fun.

Competitive soccer teams are fielded under the auspices of the Dighton-Rehoboth Soccer Club, which is a cooperative venture between RYSC and Dighton Youth Soccer.

Registration

Early Bird registration fee for the 2009 Fall season is $65, maximum $130 per family. After July 1, registration fee is $90, with a maximum of $180 per family. Kindergarten (Under-6) players and new 2009 residents always pay the Early Bird rate. Players registered for 2008 have been mailed preprinted registration forms for 2009.

RYSC has a policy that no child shall be denied a chance to play for financial reasons. Please contact RYSC President Kathy Saleeba. Players in the Kindergarten Division (Uner-6) will receive a uniform t-shirt as part of their registration fee. All other players must wear the RYSC reversible green/white mesh uniform jersey and green/white striped socks. Uniforms may be ordered on the registration form for $30.
