Thank you for making the 2007 Festival a very big success. We again had dancers attend from Ontario, Quebec, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Thanks so much for coming After several years of steady growth, this year our festival had a big attendance increase. We had paid attendance of 51 squares of dancers. The dance halls, the lunch, and the Sugar on Snow all felt a little busier, but there is still room for more. Our message to our Canadian friends is: come on down to the 2008 Maple Sugar Square and Round Dance Festival and take advantage of the cheap American dollar, We continue to receive many favorable comments about our lineup of callers and cuers. Feedback we receive from our callers indicates that they have a great time, they love working together, and that our lineup is the best anywhere. We feel that it’s the great callers and cuers that keep dancers coming back. So plan on coming to the 2008 festival! And bring some friends! Just show up and register at the door!
	Dancing programs include Class - Mainstream, Plus, Advanced, C1 and Rounds. We will have guest callers from New England call in the Mainstream hall throughout the weekend.  Be sure to come if you are now taking square dance classes at your local club. Our mainstream hall is designed for the calls that you have learned.
All activities will be in middle school. Live a little and stay up late with us and enjoy the Vermont tradition of "sugar on snow" on Friday night after the dancing. Tickets for Sugar on Snow can be purchased at the door, at registration, or by mail when you pre-register. This feature gets more popular every year.
Dancing will be from 7:00 to 11:00 Friday night, 10:00 to 4:00 Saturday daytime and 7:00 to 11:00 Saturday night.
The delicious corn chowder from Mary Leduc was a big hit, and will be on the menu in 2008.
So come wear out your dancing shoes with us.
Our cuers have been so busy they did not realize that YES, you can in fact buy maple syrup at our festival. In the snack bar we have maple syrup in a variety of sizes, and other maple products for sale. Maple products come from one of our club members:
