What a great country we live in. People are living longer today and
the population is growing. An interesting fact to consider, the population is growing faster than our churches are growing.
This is the calling that was placed on my heart: to do more, to offer
a place, a home for the unsaved; for Christians who have been lost in their place of worship, who like me, had reached
their pinnacle and wanted to serve God in a deeper way.
Jesus tells us in Mark 16:15 "Go into the world and preach
the gospel to every creature." This is the "Great Commission" that was given to the disciples of Christ, and is the
mission of the church today, to preach the "Good News" to everyone.
I found the Lord in 1985. Joan and I attended a Christian
church for almost eight years. It was an exciting time in our lives. The Lord had much to show us, including the fact that
we loved each other and that we should wed!
God has given me a vision to reach out to the unsaved of Harford
County. We started slowly, in my home at first. The growth among the members was amazing. The Lord was pouring His Word on
us and we were absorbing it like sponges.
He then told me that the time had come for us to move out of
the house and into a building. One phone call and we were meeting the owners of Potters Prep. They had been praying for help
and God brought us together. We have been sharing the building with them since then.
