People wonder, how do we do this project in Kenya? It would be too expensive to do by phone.
And too slow to do by postal mail. This miracle happens because of our Angel in Kenya, Mercy Purity, who volunteers
countless hours each week, buying and delivering food, hiring local women to sew uniforms, getting construction estimates,
purchasing and delivering construction supplies, hiring local labor, and doing everything we ask. In this picture, Mercy
is taking time off from her job at the local tourist camp to help assemble bunk beds for the dormitories. Without Mercy,
there would be no Kenya Project. Please give your computer some time to download these great pictures, they are worth
the wait!

Our 2007 Volunteer Trip:
Yes, that's Diane Rhodes, trip volunteer and Maywood Rotary President with
Empopongi Primary School students on our first day at the school. The sign she is holding proclaims that our Rotary
Club has proudly sponsored this school since 2003

What our volunteers accomplished at the school:
| Working on buillding an organic garden. |

Since 2003, we have provided school lunches for every student. In
order to help the school become more self sufficient, trip volunteer Spenser Fenniman (a farm manager) and his helpers created
an organic garden that will help feed the children. The school children have been eating the garden vegetables each
day for the last several months, reducing their need for our assistance providing lunch each school day.
