All  of the seventh and eigth grade children have to stay in school until 10:00pm each school night for tutoring needed to pass their national elementary school graduation examination.  It's too dangerous to walk home up to eight miles at that time, so the volunteers raised the funds to build a simple boys dormitory and girls dormitory.  Again, please give your computer the time to download these great pictures, it's worth the wait.

And our volunteers worked hard painting each dormitory.

Here come the mattresses!

And the students carried both the mattresses and bunk beds all the way up the hill to the new dorms.

We found that during recess, the only thing the children had to play with was a stick and the dirt.  So thanks to donations, we installed the first school playground ever in the Maasai area.  Volunteers installed climbing bars, see saws and swings.  But the children had no idea of how to use them until our volunteers showed them how.
