Our little elementary school had no library.  Thanks to the donations from the Fenniman and McKay familys in Maywood; they now have a modest library with over a thousand books and an entire year's worth of school supplies.  Thanks to the card system set up for each book by Maywood Library Director Diane Rhodes children and residents of the seven surrounding villiages can borrow books!

For over two years now, thanks to donors and trip volunteers, we have been able to give full scholarships to every graduating 8th grade student to go to high school.  In the picture below, students are telling trip volunteer Bill Wetzel how grateful they are to be able to continue their education and thus improve their lives.

Many of our volunteers helped the children by teaching different subjects, geography, English, girls health, and boys health.  Below trip volunteers Alyssa Locaciso and Kelly Wright are teaching "African Yoga" to many excited children.

It wasn't all hard work.  Trip volunteers made life long friends on the other side of the world.  Alyssa taught Science Teacher Charles how to speak some Spanish.  Project founder, Corey Eustace-Williams, told his friend all about skate boarding in the USA
