If you are a producer returning from a long hiatus, here's what's new:

Digital Transmission
Programs on the cable channels are now transmitted from high-resolution digital videotape. These tapes are not
available for free. Producers will need to purchase their own digital tapes for their productions. More information
is available on the DVC-PRO page.
At about 16-24 hours, the broadcast day is also more than 3 times longer than in previous years.

Studio Facilities
The cable company no longer owns the studio in City Hall. The ownership of the studio was transferred to the City
of Bowie in 1999. The City has made several additions to the features, services, and quality of the studio system.
