Time to get it out there
Now that I've been playing this home-grown system for a couple of years, convincing three partners to play it with me, I figured I should get it out there.

This site introduces the Westwood Club.  It is a strong club system.

It's different than most other club systems.

It is a natural system--an opening 1 diamond shows 4+ diamonds.  It favors 4-card major responses on the first round of bidding (longer majors are bid on the second round).

A 1 diamond response is waiting, not weak.  This keeps the bidding low, giving the stronger opening hand control of the bidding.  In this it is like bidding 2 diamonds as a waiting response to a strong 2 club opening.

I will be updating this site from time to time, so stay tuned or send me an e-mail.
