Teldrassil:
The Night Elves have an interesting homeland. Teldrassil is a world tree, for those of you who do not understand, a world
if a basically a very large tree. The Night Elves have built several towns with in the trees bowls, and if you play your cards
right, you can easily fall of the great tree. Sadly the planting of the tree was not blessed by nature and the great tree
has seen many corrupt creatures growing with in its branches.
Day
1: I began my adventures by learning the
system, needless to say I found it a bit confusing, at one point I had set my screen resolution to 1024 by 768 (Wide).
And with that I lost the buttons on my setting window, after a brief fight I managed to get it back to normal.
The beginning
town for Night Elves is built in and around a great tree. I happened to witness a hapless victim of gravity take a plunge
out of the upper branches. I count myself lucky to have avoided such a trip.
There are
several quests to be had in around the town, and even a spider filled dungeon to explore, some quests even require exploring
the depths of these caves. The spiders are naturally aggressive, and I would advise caution around them. However they do provide
a god source of experience for the fledgling adventurer.
As you explore
the town you will find numerous vendors and trainers. The loot you find on many kills ill provide you with
some money, however do not expect to get rich, as time goes on you will find it easier to make the money you
require to fund your adventures in Azeroth.
Trainers
do charge for, for the skills they teach you. Hey, we all need to make a living. ;> Actually the fees are not so bad, and
you find it rather easy to acquire thee required funds.
Day 2: ... Can only offer an adventurer so much,
and so I resolved to move on. After climbing the hill about and following the road into the next valley I can across,
the village
of Starbreeze. This place has seen better days, and you will find a hoard
of corrupted Furbolgs here. Needless to say I didn't stay long and soon moved onto my next stop.
... Is much
livelier town, full of adventures for the eager Hunter? A number of vendors and trainers are also on hand for the many travelers
here. The local Inn is also willing to put you for the night, and I would advise maker this stop your home Inn.
After all, what good would your hearth stone be other wise.
In the area
around ... you ill find more spiders, and many Stirge Owls. A cave right behind the town houses many vile creatures.
And the surrounding hills are home to many other creatures. Leveling in and around the area is can be amusing, and there will
be many quests waiting. One quest requires you visit many of the Moon wells in Teldrassil. This is a great quest that will
help you learn the lay of the land.
Several dungeons
can found hidden in the area, and some even further out. Personally I love a good dungeon crawl, however at times even I require
aid, and so you may as well. In most of the dungeons you will find yourself being attacked by several creatures, and this
can lead to you finding yourself dead. Luckily ... houses a grave yard and if you choose to return to your body it should
be a short trip.

Day 3: Finally I arrived at the great capitol city of
Darnassus.
For those of you who have played War Craft 3, you will find the ancients to be an interesting addition.
Darnassus
is a very open city; the dwellings of the Night Elves are built in coporation with nature. I found the city to be a nice
change from the cities I've seen in other games.
Darnassus
is full of Merchants, Trainers and crafting Trainers. And while you may be a bit confused at first, with time it all becomes
clear. I found several quests in the great city, however I believe there are many more awaiting me. If you need help find
what lies with in the walls of Darnassus, many of the sentinels will be willing to help you find your way around.
A portal
in Darnassus, grants access to a town built at the base of the great tree, and while this portal provides Night Elves
with an easy access to the outside world, it also allows the members of the hoard and easy rout to raid into Darnassus. On
my arrival in Darnassus, several hoard rogues slipped into town to wreak havoc. And while the hoard was finally defeated...
the damage was done.
Day 4:
Day
5: Auberdine is a small Night Elf city on
the Darkshore. One can travel here by either griffon or boat. Several vendors call this town home, however there is not a
trainer to be found...
Many quests
will send you traveling throughout the Darkshore area. However one must be mindful of the bears and the large cats in the
area. These beasts provide a great source of experience; however they can also be quite a challenge. The corrupted Furbolgs
are also a great source for exp and loot; however they can also be a great threat to ones life.
The waters
of the Darkshore are an interesting spot, you can several ship wrecks to explore and the beats that prowl the oceans can be
interesting to fight. You may also witness raids from the hoard fighting into Auberdine. This town provides easy access to
Teldrassil for Hoard raiders, by way of boat. However, truly brave raiders may attempt to swim the waters of the Darkshore.
