One of the most popular formats. Each golfer is competing
individually against other players in their flight. Flights are based on handicap index. Generally, most REMA
tournaments (Individual and Partner) will have three flights. Flight breakdowns are usually divided equally
by the number of total players. For example, 48 players would break down to 16 players in each flight.
It's important for players to establish a handicap (which
takes 5 scores).
Payouts (gift certificates) will be based on the number
of players in each flight.
