Wooden Penguin, hull number 4066.  Wooden mast, new shrouds and forestay, serviceable sail, all parts necessary to sail.  Includes nice galvanized trailer with 12” wheels in good shape and road-worthy. I know very little about the boat other than it floats as I bought it but find I don’t have time for it and my two other boats. Wife wants it out of the driveway!  $450/offers.

Penguin # 9873 For Sale. I do not know who made it but I know it is not a home built boat. It is a wood boat with a Proctor aluminum mast. Updated hardware and lines. Two sails, including an almost new North racing sail (used 4 times). Excellent fiberglass centerboard. The boat is stiff, light, dry, and ready to race. It includes a trailer.

 Two John Wright Jr. Penguins for sale. The first is #4356 (Boblin) owned by Robert Belt, and the second is #7564 (Nil Desperactum) owned by Robert Theobald, both from Bethesda, Maryland. These boats were raced under the banner of the Washington Sailing Club in the 1960's. Both boats have been garaged and not used since then. They are original and complete including oars. They are exceptionally well preserved, but of course need cleaning on the inside, and a fresh coat of paint on the outside. They have their original trailers, and a new set of tires. I have a beautiful laminated wood rudder and attached tiller for sale. The rudder blade is laminated ash has a perfect varnish job The attached tiller is one piece ash. Both rudder and tiller are race ready. The rudder/tiller weighs less than five pounds. No knots or blemishes on unit. Never been put way wet, bone dry with  no soft spots.
