History:

The Greensboro Chapter was founded on the 16th of July in 2003 as a not-for-profit, private educational organization dedicated to perpetuating the history of the Greensboro area.

This group supports county wide preservation activities and concentrates on the preservation and dissemination of the history and historical artifacts of the Town of Greensboro and the surrounding area.

Our Mission:

Stimulating and encouraging the collection, preservation, and interpretation of   Greensboro history and historical artifacts through publications, awards, educational programs, and related historical activities;

Supporting and furthering the programs of the Caroline County Historical Society, Inc., local historians and genealogists by functioning as a service organization and communication link;

Cooperating with appropriate individuals, organizations, and institutions on the local, state, or national levels in projects and activities that will promote and sustain a general interest in history.
