• Promotional / Community events: To promote an awareness of the history of the Greensboro area, the North County and of the Greensboro Chapter:

ü  Book of Greensboro history – in process.

• Computer for museum: Computer, printer and required software received from Dell – 98% operational

• Visitor / Tourist Center: Relocation of the Benjamin House/ Harry Bastian House.

ü  Application - architect’s drawing.

ü  Elevations by Hayman show that the proposed site is not in the flood plain.

ü  Move scheduled for the Spring.

ü  Mary Lou and Peggy are moving this project along.

• Museum Clean up – Nov 1^st  Outside - Betty B. & Community Service personnel // vols. for inside??
• Historic Butler/Goldsborough store: demolished on Thursday 9/18/08 -- surprise to Historical Society.
•  Burial books: Two volume set of burials in Kent County Delaware (1989) on loan to the museum.
• FDR recording: 1938 speech in front of the Caroline County Courthouse ---- possible sales?
• July 4^th, 2009: Initiative to re-institute the 4^th of July as a special event in the town of Greensboro.

• Small Museum Association (SMA) convention: Feb. 22-24, 2009 – Ocean City – details TBA.
