Some years ago I heard the word Reiki for the first time. I was curious
about this hands-on healing technique and wondered how a person could effectively heal with spiritually guided energy.
Now, as I lay my own hands on clients and feel the moving, swirling energy vibrate through
me to the client, I know this does not require any special insight or powers. Channeling Reiki healing energy is
a Divine gift that everyone and anyone can tap into for self-healing or healing of others. Reiki is about intent.
If you feel even the slightest bit interested, then you are ready to begin learning Reiki and feeling the wonderful flow of
this universal light energy. There is a great world around us and we are ready to explore and engage this beautiful,
loving, brightly-powered, etheric movement.
Experience Reiki for yourself and feel the calming, soothing affect it has on
you. During a session you may see colors behind your closed eyes as the practitioner channels Reiki to your chakras
(invisible energy centers in the body.) You will feel loved because the practitioner is acting as a conduit for the
greatest love there is - Divine Love.
Opening yourself to a higher vibration requires only that you come to it with a
sense of wonder and allow the spirit of Reiki to move through you. Receive the Reiki attunements from a Reiki Master
and start a process within your spirit that will awaken your higher self. Begin to channel Reiki and discover a self
that has been pushed aside by the ego self. Say yes to your natural knowing that there is a higher plane.
A plane where you are truly you.
